Wwv_flow.accept, error 404 page not found

I am trying to install the OEHR Sample Objects for the Hosted Demo environment at site so I can do the Oracle Application Express 2 Day + Tutorial. I downloaded the zip file and got the .sql file extracted ok. The import works ok for the application, but hangs when trying to load the Supporting Objects. It eventually gives me that nasty old error 404 page not found when on MS windows 2000 and IEexplorer 6 ( and a similar result in xp using IEexplorer 7).
I cannot do much in the tutorial without the samples.
Any ideas, anyone else gotten stuck here? Thanks

Many thanks for the reply.
The problem appears to be intermittent and can happen on, quite literally, any link or button. Anything which causes either a page submit or link through to another page is a likely candidate. And this isn't just whilst running the app - it's within the app design part, too. It seems to be an issue (possibly) with page delivery.
My gut feeling is that it seems to happen more after the DB has been up for a while. However, this may just be a matter of perception as I've also had it happen within minutes of a DB restart.
I'll have a play around with, but my suspicion is that the Oracle site works fine (this would be a far more visible error if it happened on, too).
One thought is that it might be an EPG config issue - it'd be interesting to check the config of an Oracle-supplied Apex area, if that were possible. Another thought is that it could be the network, though (typically) everything else on the network appears to be running fine...
Many thanks,

I created generic service resources of many windows services under Microsoft Failover Cluster and they are failing over successfully but when I create a generic service resource for WWW, then the WWW service is not able to online
via Microsoft Failover Cluster. It stuck in online pending.
I have noticed two things.
1.) If the WWW service is set to manual and started at passive node and I manually restart the Active node then the WWW service successfully switch over to stand by/passive node. but if the WWW service is set to
manual and not started on stand by/Passive node then the WWW service is not failing over.
2.) if I kill the WWW service manually (as a test case) on Active Node via this command (taskkill /f /pid XXXX) then the WWW service failed and is not failing
over to standby/passive node.
Any comment will be appreciated. Thanks. Zahid Haseeb.

The day after I played with some mono-based apps (desktop-drapes, greent, and perhaps something else) I got a strange behaviour with gnome, even for a  brand-new user.
I guess something went wrong with Xorg or gconf, as
- in gnome menu icons do not show up any more
- on the whole desktop keypress repetition doesn't work (and if I enable it from gnome settings, what I obtain is eg. a double "aa" each time a press the "a" key and nothing more)
- gnome theme settings complain about missing schema for Metacity default theme and won't start
- keybindings which include the Ctrl key do not work (as tab switching in gnome-terminal)
and various other things
What can I do to fix things?

Oracle Database 11g Release on Windows 2008 R2 x64
Application Express
I am importing a workspace from our dev system to 100 databases and I want to make sure the developers are not forced to change password on first loging otherwise this is going to waste a lot of time
I am running
alter session set current_schema = APEX_040100;
     wwv_flow_security.g_security_group_id := 10;
     wwv_flow_security.g_user := 'ADMIN';
     wwv_flow_security.g_import_in_progress := true;
     for r in (select *
               from apex_040100.wwv_flow_fnd_user
          where security_group_id <> 10) loop
          wwv_flow_fnd_user_api.edit_fnd_user(p_user_id => r.user_id,
                                        p_user_name => r.user_name,
                                        p_change_password_on_first_use => 'N',
                                        p_first_password_use_occurred => 'Y');
     end loop;
     wwv_flow_security.g_import_in_progress := false;
However, this doesn't seem to do anything and doesn't return an error either. When I query the apex_040100.wwv_flow_fnd_user table nothing has changed
I've searched the APEX documentation ( for wwv_flow_fnd_user_api and there is only one match that just lists the package name, not even the spec
thanks in advance

Any one can help me on the WWC-00000 error while creating the
user from the Admin tab of Oralce Portal. In fact I can't use
the Login server administration. same problem exists.
I granted DBA privileges to the PORTAL30, just to verify and NO
I am using the latest version of Portal S/W on iAS9i
- Suneel

We have the following scenerio.
Application server 9iR1, apache server, login server, portal3. on 9iR2 database on host A. There is another database in 9iR2 where portal3. installed on host B. I want to use this database for another website configuring apache on host A as virtual host. I want to use same login server on host A.
The website on host A is working fine while the website on host B does not allow me to log into the login server.
I have run ssodatan script for associating portal schema on host B. I have created partner application on host A portal for accessing portal on host B and run ssodatax script for associating partner application.
when I try to log into the another web site created for host B, I get portal welcome page. when I click on login, I get sso page but i am unable to log into it, getting error The partner application configuration is missing or expired. Please contact the administrator. (WWC-41653)
How to resolve this?

Well, I spoke too soon about the "working perfectly" part in my previous post. If you close the lid (to sleep) while the Sierra EM7345 WWAN is Enabled, the computer crashes reliably next time you open the lid. Generally the crash is a BSOD with an unhandled exception in vwififlt.sys.
This happens whether Mobile Broadband is on or off in the network settings panel. It happens the same way whether plugged in or on battery power. It happens the same way whether wifi and ethernet are on or off.
Sometimes the driver disappears from Device Manager, replaced by either a CDC device or an unknown USB device. Sometimes restarting will fix this, and sometimes it won't. If it doesn't, you have to reinstall the driver to get it working again.
The only workaround I've found so far is to Disable the Sierra EM7345 Network Adapter in Device Manager when done using it, then enable it next time you need it. Not very convenient. I wonder if there's a way to automate that.
The EM7345 driver and firmware are the most up-to-date from Lenovo's web site.
Has anyone tried removing the Sierra WWAN card and replacing it with something else?
