User Accounts and ORA-01722: invalid number error

Hello,
I have been using Express for a month or so now but have very limited knowledge of how it works.
My Problem:
I have a listing screen for user records which creates records in table QAS_USERS.
When I add a record it saves the data OK and put the record in the list.
When I click on the record in the list it takes me to the edit screen and I can change
the details and it works OK and all the changes get saved to the database.
On the data entry screen I have a list of the User Groups so I can select what group
the user will be in, usual details in username, fullname, email address, password etc..
I then added a routine to create a USER in the APEX Manage USERs.
It creates the record in my table QAS_USERS and it creates a APEX User Account with
the correct details and the record is displayed in the list.
So far so good.
Now the errors start:
1. When I look at the User Account in Administration -> Manage Application Express Users
most of the details have been added but the User Group does not get allocated.
2. The record I created in QAS_USERS appears in the list on my listing screen but when
I click on the Edit Icon on the left of the list I get the following error appear
when the screen changes to the edit screen:
ORA-01722: invalid number
Unable to fetch row error

END;
If any one has any ideas I would be very grateful.

Simon.

Hi,
It could be that this is because you are using SYSDATE which contains the time as a fraction rather than TRUNC(SYSDATE) which just contains the current time. It could be that your working_dates_between raises this error.
However, your formula is far more complicated than it needs to be.
Firstly, you want to look at the date window ADD_MONTHS(TRUNC(SYSDATE), -6) to TRUNC(SYSDATE). Then you want to look at the portion of the absence that falls in the date window. This is GREATEST(Absence Attendance.Actual Start Date, ADD_MONTHS(TRUNC(SYSDATE), -6)) to LEAST(NVL(Absence Attendance."Actual End Date",TRUNC(SYSDATE)), TRUNC(SYSDATE)). You may need to add 1 to the absence end date because this is the last day of their absence rather than the date they return. It depends how you calculate the days between the start and end
date of the absence. You can create calculations for the start and end date of the absences within the 6 months time window. Create calculation AbsenceStart as
GREATEST(Absence Attendance.Actual Start Date, ADD_MONTHS(TRUNC(SYSDATE), -6))
and AbsenceEnd as
LEAST(NVL(Absence Attendance."Actual End Date",TRUNC(SYSDATE)), TRUNC(SYSDATE))
Then you need to only pick up absence that a part of the absence in your 6 month date window. You can use a condition in the workbook or a condition in a case statement to do this. You then need to calculate the difference between these dates and SUM all the values.
SUM(CASE WHEN AbsenceEnd >= AbsenceStart THEN WORKING_DAYS_BETWEEN(AbsenceStart, AbsenceEnd) END)
That's it. Not so complicated after all.

Does it look feasible? Does Acrobat SDK allow to create a fillable pdf from an existing file?

Hi All,
I need an urgent advice on an issue,
I have 4 DC’s, all running Windows 2008 R2 -Forest /domain functional level is Windows 2008.
Totally we have 3 site, 2 sites has 1 DC each and another site has 2 DC's.
On 3rd site where i have 2 DC’s, 1 DC is on VMware VM.
On Virtual Domain controller, my colleague has restored VM snapshot after failing to add vCPU (he got Windows error recovery).
On the same day it’s found that inbound and outbound replication is disabled on that DC.
“DSA Not writable” is set to 4 in registry.
My colleague enabled replication with below commands and replication seems to be ok now.
repadmin /options servername -DISABLE_OUTBOUND_REPL
repadmin /options servername -DISABLE_INBOUND_REPL
My question is
Is it ok to leave the DC just the way as it is now? Will there be any problem in future because of this?
“DSA Not writable” key still set to 4 in registry.
Thank you in advance.

I am intending to upgrade to photoshop CC from photoshop CS6, my concern is is my computer is 6 years old and probably I will not be able to upgrade to a later mac operating system as I have mac os 10.9, and I may not be able to upgrade to a future version of photoshop, will I be able to use the current version of photoshop CC with Mac OS 10.9 for the next 5 or so years on same mac?, I know I can do this with Photoshop CS6.

ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_SYS_ERROR", line 95
ORA-06512: at "SYS.KUPV$FT", line 863
ORA-16000: database open for read-only access

Hi,
Normally during months the edition was done with Microsoft AVI DV Files (4:3 NTSC 48 Khz). No effects (just cuts). Proyect settings as DV-NTSC Standard 48 KHz
Since today when the work is done in a new or old proyect (DV-NTSC Standard 48 KHz) and if the same file (Microsoft AVI DV) is loaded to timeline now is showing a red line over the video on timeline (so requires render). There no effects. This never happens before. it is very weird.
The Premiere is CS3 ver 3.2.0.
This is happening to 2 computers with the same version. So far I know there is no changes on the systems
I was thinking to reisntall 3.0 and then test and the update to 3.2...
Any idea?

My card is an HD3870 (R670) and basically mesa 9.1.1 from official repos work fine but if I install the git version from here GDM flasshes for a microsecond and I get black screen. I had it working fine for about a month but more or less after the gnome 3.8 update this started to happen.
This is the xorg.0.log using mesa 9.1.1

Hi,
Fairly new to BEx. I'm trying to create a query that has the columns of Total and YTD and rows that show the past 3 years. My Total is being pulled directly from my multiprovider--so no issues. My YTD column is a restriction of this Total field, it is supposed to show the year to date total for each year (say if it's march then jan-march for 2011, 2010, 2009, etc). I have created this restriction by saying it should show values between the variables for first period of the year and enter fiscal period/year. My issue is that I am only getting results in the YTD column for the current year. I have tried setting an offset on the variable, but it is not working.
Any suggestions?
