Ovi Calendar server back end lost shared calendar ...

Setup a shared calendar between the Ovi web suite, and two devices, a C5 and an N8
Day 1 - Syncing fine between web and phones
Day 2 - Go into web page, now the calendar is shared with 0 others! Each phone also has a separate calendar. No configuration changes were made between days 1 and 2
It seems this to be a major bug in the Ovi Calendar suite? Is the Calendar service now deprecated and shutting down? The Calendar web page looks and feels like it's not being actively updated and supported

Thanks so much for your comment ~morgen.
Sorry, I should have mentioned, that it what my first thought so I tested by ensuring the email address associated with the user account (not hosted on the server but by Google Apps) is recieving all other mail.
I have also tried:
- Setting all accounts (calendar, email and contact card with associated email address) in another local user on a defferent Mac. So it's not a local user or Mail app issue.
- Sending invites from different Calendar apps and email accounts - iCloud, Gmail (both using Apple Calendar and the web interface).
That's why I came back around to thinking it must be calendar server related. However is there is absolutly no conntact with the server with incoming email invites I must be looking in the wrong place (and the wrong forum - sorry!).
Does anyone have any ideas where I should be focusing my efforts?
Many thanks in advance.

I am trying to override the label hint of one of my columns in the RichTable which is based on the ViewObject .
I found information on the net that I actually need to ovveride "createViewRowAttrHints" function in RowImpl
and so I did
@Override
protected ViewRowAttrHintsImpl createViewRowAttrHints(AttributeDefImpl attrDef) {
return new DrhDynamicHints(attrDef, this);
And here is my DrhDynamicHints class
package oracle.apps.xx.drh.custreport.model;
import java.util.HashMap;
import java.util.Map;
import oracle.apps.xx.drh.custreport.model.UIHintsService;
import oracle.jbo.AttributeHints;
import oracle.jbo.LocaleContext;
import oracle.jbo.server.AttributeDefImpl;
import oracle.jbo.server.ViewAttributeDefImpl;
import oracle.jbo.server.ViewRowAttrHintsImpl;
import oracle.jbo.server.ViewRowImpl;
public class DrhDynamicHints extends ViewRowAttrHintsImpl
public DrhDynamicHints(AttributeDefImpl attributeDefImpl, ViewRowImpl viewRowImpl)
super(attributeDefImpl, viewRowImpl);
public DrhDynamicHints()
super();
@Override
public String getHint(LocaleContext locale,String hintName)
System.out.print("Hint name "+hintName);
if ( getViewAttributeDef().getName().equals("Hold3") && ViewRowAttrHintsImpl.HINT_NAME_LABEL.equals(hintName))
return "kukareku";
return super.getHint(locale, hintName);
@Override
public String getHintValue(LocaleContext locale,String hintName)
System.out.print("getHintValue");
return super.getHintValue( locale, hintName);
@Override
public String getLabel(LocaleContext locale)
System.out.print("getLabel");
return super.getLabel( locale);
@Override
public AttributeHints getAttributeHintsInternal(String arg0,LocaleContext arg1)
System.out.print("getAttributeHintsInternal");
return super.getAttributeHintsInternal(arg0, arg1);
as you can see I am trying to replace the label "Holds3" with "kukareku" , but it doesn't work.
Moreover I don't even see that this function is being called (note that I did put System.out.println) in all of them.
It looks like it just doesn't work.
I want all implementation to be placed in the Model, so using backing bean is not something I want to
Could be I am missing something?
Maybe there is another way to do it?

Hello Experts,
I am using Select options in web dynpro abap.
On a particular View container i have added a selection field using ADD_SELECTION_FIELD which has an OVS help to it.
The selection field is of type CODE.
And on click of a button i am reading the select option fields using GET_RANGE_TABLE_OF_SEL_FIELD and assigining this to a
field symbol which inturn is being set to an attribute.
My requirement is to show the TEXT to the user and send the CODE to the method which is called
when the button is clicked and a table is populated.
Normally we can keep two attributes one for TEXT and the other for CODE but for Select options i am not very sure how this can be achieved.
Because in select options we are reading the values present on the select option field and there may be multiple values.
Please guide me through this.
Thanks in Advance,
Shravan

Hi,
I'm trying to create a PVM on OVM 3.0.3 using an ftp server to use an ISO for a Linux 5 installation.
In the create virtual machine wizard for the network path (in boot options) I am specifying:
ftp://oracle:[email protected]/home/oracle/iso/OEL56/
The above link opens up in a browser and I can see the mounted iso.
I mounted the iso as:
cd /home/oracle
mkdir /iso/OEL56/
mount -o ro,loop /ovm_iso/linux/Enterprise-R5-U6-Server-x86_64-dvd.iso /home/oracle/iso/OEL56/
But Starting the VM fails with "ovmapi_4004e server failed" and "Boot loader didn't return any data". I'm assuming it can't read from the iso during boot.
Is there anything wrong with the ftp path . Are non-anonymous ftp users (oracle in this case) allowed or do I need to use anonymous logon.
Regards,
Shahab.

Server takes a long time to reboot. Seems to get stuck for 8-10 minutes every time after joining domain.

- 3 NICs, one on primary subnet (192.168.0), two unassigned
OVM 3.0.3 fresh instal
- hostname gandalfl
- host is a Dell Optiplex 755 w 8GB RAM, 500 GB OS disk,

Hi all,
I have just setup an HP P2000 iSCSI SAN and created a few LUN's on it that I want to present to a vm server. How do I do this?
In the SAN SMU utility to add a host I seem to need an iqn - where can I find it. What docs explain this (sorry again for greeness)
I look at wim's blog here:
http://blogs.oracle.com/wim/entry/using_linux_iscsi_targets_with
and a lot of the tools dont seems to be present in my dom0
i look at the official docs :http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E20065_01/doc.30/e18549/storage.htm#autoId4
and they dont really tell me much
where do you suggest to look for guidelines for iSCSI setup with ovm 3.0?
Thanks

"Known Issues
Hardware virtualized (HVM) guests with Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel always use paravirtualized (PV) drivers
Unbreakable Enterprise Kernel version kernel-uek-2.6.32-100.34.1 adds support for paravirtualized drivers in a HVM guest on Oracle VM. Starting with this kernel version, the default is to present only paravirtualized drivers when running in a hardware virtualized guest. To run kernel-uek --including the drivers-- fully hardware virtualized, an additional kernel boot parameter "xen_emul_unplug=never" must be added to the boot parameters in /etc/grub.conf:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.32-100.34.1.el5uek ro root=/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 xen_emul_unplug=never
Adding this kernel boot parameter makes the kernel also present the emulated drivers as it did before (e.g. the 8139cp network driver). "
Update "grub.conf" to boot non-UEK kernel,
